I would like to start March 2021 with Eagle day….. we got some F-15C eagles from the 159th FW ” Bayou Militia” from NAS New orleans came in to NAS ft worth for gas and stayed the night here in North Texas. Seeing soaring Eagles is not a daily occurrence here in Ft worth
March also marked the maiden flight of Royal Danish Air Force first and second F-35A for their fleet. There will be a big Celebration for the F-35A inauguration for the Danish in April. The maiden flight for L-001 went great with another F-35A as chase plane. the next few days we got multiple testing on L-001 and than came L-002.
While we were catching the Danish F-35, we got quite some visitors and actions
Texas Spring time Airshow season started with a small CAF sponsered Airshow in Burnet , TX….. we also get to see the Debut of the New A-10C SEA camouflage scheme to commeorate the Vietnam war era aircrafts like the F-4 and F-105.
We never forget our locals in NAS Ft worth which includes the local squadrons in the base and also Lockheed Martin’s F-35 test flights on those new production aircrafts. Every Month in Lockheed there are different jets being test flown and also delivery flights. Here you see Spads 457th FS Anniversary bird, F-35 from Weapon school, ROKAF, Hill AFB , unmarked F-35B, Royal Australian Air Force , C130 from Rangers and Ropers.
