Commemorative Air Force ( CAF ) moved their headquarter from Midland TX to Dallas Executive Airport last year. CAF is known to promote and keep vintage military aircraft in serviceable condition and promote the historical significance of these war machines.
2016 marks the 1st ever CAF airshow with great selections of World War 2 warbirds like the Superfortress B-29 FiFi ( only 2 flying in the world), B17 Flying Fortress “Texas Raiders” , A-26 Invader ” Lady Liberty and Night Mission” , Beech C45 ” Bucket of Bolts and Texas Dolls” , P-51D Mustang ” Gunfighters and Charlotte’s Chariots II”, F-4U Corsair, P-40E Warhawk , C47 ” Blue Bennett Belle” and many more. This Airshow also include a moving Sherman Easy 8 tank from Cavanuagh Flight Museum and WW2 Pacific war weaponry demonstration from a .45 1911 pistol to M1 garand rifle.

We did get some Modern Aircraft including a Navy T-6 Texan II and a Starwar jet!!
