As the weekend comes, the Florida Makos start their maneuvers on Friday 8/29/2015 to evade Tropical storm Erika.
The 93rd Fighter Squadron take advantage of their safe haven of NAS JRB Fort Worth to house their F-16C’s while the tropical storm blows over.
They started flying in formation of 4 and 5 after 1300hrs till almost the last flight of 4 including a 2 seater right after 6pm. We counted almost 20 F-16 came in for the shelter. Fri afternoon also spot some C-130 and Spads 301st FW F-16 flying.
Airwingspotter would like to welcome our newest Assistant Editor Joseph Fisher for covering this arrivals.
