NAS Ft worth ( KNFW) Military aircraft spotting in August. Lockheed Martin (LMT) have been very busy crunching out those F-35 Lightning. After a week of rain and thunderstorm, we finally got some clear weather and LMT took these clear weather for some intensive F35 testing.
First being the Israeli F-35I (Adir) in Hebrew denotes awesomeness and also mean ” Mighty One” . The first squadron of 20 F-35 jets from the first production series would only include a few Israeli-made systems. The United States, meanwhile, has agreed that if Israel buys more F-35 squadrons from later production series, the installation of more Israeli-made systems will be allowed.
AX-1 Japanese F-35A
Japanese Self Defense Force ordered 38 F-35A while the first 4 aircraft will be produce here in Ft worth designated AX-1 to AX4. Here is the maiden flight of the AX-1 and will be expected to deliver by the end of the year.
Here we got F-35 from our local Air Force and Marines
Taiwan ( ROCAf) awarded Lockheed Martin to upgrade 144 of their F-16A/B Blk 20 to the F-16V variants. Here we caught the B model being tested in this new platform
KNFW also got quite a bit of transient traffic in the month of August with the C-5M galaxy from Lackland AFB, C-17 from RAF and F-5n from VMFT-401 Snipers from MCAS Yuma
Airwingspotter.com never forget our local boys in KNFW. Here we have our 301st FW Spads and Ropers.
I would like to thank Airwingspotter.com photographer Joseph Fischer for the hardwork fighting the Texas summer photographing these aircrafts.
