Ft Worth Alliance Airport KAFW hosted the Phantom QF-4E from 82nd ATRS twice in October for the Airshow and a flyby for the Texas Motor speedway in November. Getting twice appearance in 2 months is phenomenal not to mention that all these beautiful jest will be retired from the USAF inventory by December.

Col King callsign “Elvis” brought in aircraft 74-1638 . This QF-4E is in the Southeast Asia Camouflage scheme that the F-4 phantom uses in the hay days of Vietnam war. We spot an orange tail that was use for identification of this aircraft as target drones in the 82nd ATRS.
